On a site that once resounded to the clatter of countless looms, today a wide range of creative projects and services are being planned and brought to fruition. The Business Village is located in a former textile weaving mill, which stood empty for 20 years before being brought back to life. The factory was built in 1904 on the banks of the River Chemnitz and is now being renovated to provide a multi-functional space for creative workers. The varied office landscape covers about 1,000 square metres and offers meeting rooms, a cafeteria and various event spaces for functions and conferences. The Business Village is a lively blend of creative companies, who not only work alongside each other but who also exchange experiences, skills and services. These enterprises need space for concentrated work but also for communication and relaxation. The facilities have been designed with mobility in mind and can be adapted to suit changing needs.
